Wall Street borrows the two colours the market uses to tell you how your day went, and returns them to the things they came from — a cone, a sundae, a cluster of mushrooms, a chart cut into a wall. Each is arrested at the moment the drip has committed but not yet landed. Read from across the room, a good day and a bad one look identical.
